Costa Dorada is Spain's Golden Coast. It is a picturesque strip of coastline located in Catalonia around 216 kilometers in length. It features long stretches of golden sandy beaches and shallow sparkling turquoise waters. The rich soil near this picturesque coastline is home to many of Spain’s best vineyards and olive groves.
A truly awesome theme park awaits you at PortAventura, and there’s 50 miles of golden beaches on this stretch of coast too. Lively Salou is the most popular place to hang your hat, but you’ll be spoilt for scenery no matter where you stay in this history-drenched, traditional seaside retreat.

The ancient city of Tarragona is a ‘must visit’ for any history buffs. The whole city is like an open air museum, brimming with ancient sites like the Roman Amphitheatre. If you have little ones whose legs tire easily, the tourist train is a great way to explore. A really unique experience for any kids who dream of becoming a mermaid. In addition, this academy offers indoor swimming classes where they will learn about the history and mythology of mermaids. One of Europe’s biggest and most popular theme parks, Port Aventura is a must visit for any family visiting the Costa Dorada.
